Students and staff at Nishkam High School have celebrated an excellent set of A level results.
The overall pass rate for A2 was 98.5%, a significant improvement on the previous year. Most significantly, the pass rate exceeded the national average which was 98.1%. These results allowed all students that had applied to enter further education to take their place and they will start the next phase in their journey in October. At AS level, almost 30% of all grades awarded were at Grade A or Grade B and set a fabulous platform for further study in Year 13.
Principal Damien Kearns commented, “I am delighted with the results. I am particularly pleased that our students have been rewarded for their work and such outcomes also reflect the support of their parents and our teachers.”
