GCSE Results – 2025

Nishkam's ‘faith-inspired, virtues-led’ approach to education has helped shape the character of our Year 11 students. Collectively they have provided GCSE results that should make all those associated with the school feel humble, but proud.

The hard work and determination of our students has resulted in the following headlines:

  • Attainment 8 score = 51.51
  • English/maths 9-7 = 23%; percentage of pupils achieving a grade 7 or better in both English and maths
  • English/maths 9-5 = 54%; percentage of pupils achieving a 'strong' pass (grade 5 or better) in both English and maths
  • English/maths 9-4 = 77%; percentage of pupils achieving a 'standard' pass (grade 4 or better) in both English and maths
  • over 23% of all grades awarded for GCSE this year were the very top grades (grades 9, 8 and 7) and over 55% of all grades awarded in Applied course were Merit or above highlighting our focus on ‘excellence’

A special mention to the students below who have performed extremely well:

  • Daya D who received six Grade 9s, three Grade 8s, one Grade 7 and one Grade 6.
  • Ishveer D who received seven Grade 9s, one Grade 8, two Grade 7s and one Grade 6.
  • Tasnima B who received three Grade 9s, three Grade 8s, one Grade 7 and one Distinction Star.
  • Bandhan K who received one Grade 9, six Grade 8s and three Grade 7s.

We are indebted to the tremendous work of all the staff at Nishkam High School who help guide and inspire our students. We would also like to also thank parents and the wider community who have helped our children steer a path through the last five years. We look forward to seeing many of our students extend their journey with Nishkam by returning into our Sixth Form when the new academic year commences in September.
