Nishkam Sixth Form is delighted to announce another exceptional year of Post-16 results, with significant gains across both academic and applied qualifications. Nishkam’s faith-inspired, virtues-led led approach to education has once again underpinned this success, with our students demonstrating confidence, commitment and resilience.

This year, we saw an increase in the number of students achieving A*-A grades — rising from 22% in 2024 to 24% in 2025 — continuing the school’s upward trajectory in academic achievement.

In the applied qualifications, students performed exceptionally well. The average grade increased to a Distinction- (equivalent to an A grade) in 2025 — a clear testament to the strength of the school’s holistic educational approach.

• Maryam A – Distinction*, Distinction, and A grade in her Applied IT, Health Social Care and Economics

This year’s results open the door to an impressive range of destinations for our students. Many will be heading to prestigious universities such as Warwick to study Computer Science, the University of Birmingham to read Chemistry, Midwifery, Biochemistry, and Law, Loughborough University to pursue Sports Management, and the University of Bath to study Psychology. These diverse choices reflect the breadth of ambition and talent within our Sixth Form.

Alongside university offers, we are equally proud of those students who will be pursuing apprenticeships in a variety of industries, choosing to combine academic achievement with hands-on professional experience. These pathways highlight Nishkam Sixth Form’s commitment to supporting each student’s individual aspirations, whether through higher education or direct career entry.
