Students in our Sixth Form normally study three A Level subjects throughout Years 12 and 13. Students may also choose to study a fourth A Level where appropriate.

Alongside their A Level studies, all students have one lesson of Personal Development, including PSHE, and two lessons of enrichment each week.

Our 16–19 Study Programme

All students at Nishkam School West London follow a full-time 16–19 study programme designed to support successful progression to higher education, apprenticeships or employment.

The programme is centred on three A Level qualifications, with students able to study a fourth A Level where appropriate. Alongside their academic qualifications, all students participate in Personal Development and a structured enrichment programme which supports their wider personal development, employability and preparation for their next steps.

Careers education, information, advice and guidance form part of the Sixth Form programme, alongside opportunities for engagement with employers, universities and other education and training providers.

Where a student has not achieved the required standard in GCSE English and/or Mathematics, their study programme includes continued study of the relevant qualification in accordance with Department for Education requirements.
